Florida Central Credit Union

Business Challenge:
FCCU (Florida Central Credit Union) is a not-for-profit, full service financial cooperative headquartered in Tampa, Florida.  It serves customers in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Manatee, Sarasota, DeSoto, and Charlotte Counties, as well as other Floridians with relatives who are currently FCCU members.  With a quickly growing membership, FCCU recognized the need to streamline efficiencies and better prepare new hires.  Essential components of training included company history, the points of differentiation between themselves and other credit unions, and key tasks necessary to perform daily work. One challenge to achieving these goals was the large amounts of time required to educate personnel in a classroom setting.  Additionally, FCCU had no system in place for assessing new employee learning via scoring or tracking methodology.

The Solution:
New Employee courses were developed by SMEs (subject matter experts) and delivered in ALP.  Intelladon provided the software, training and hosting.

Return on Investment:
By creating online, self-paced learning, FCCU established a consistent, effective and time-saving employee orientation program that properly instructed personnel on FCCU’s history, uniqueness within its industry and on essential daily work routines. Within 18 months, FCCU had created a new employee orientation library containing over 20 training modules as well as other online curriculum
