Business Challenge:
As the nation's largest motoring and leisure travel organization, AAA provides 47 million members with travel, insurance, financial and automotive-related services. Since its founding in 1902, the not-for-profit AAA has been a leader and advocate for the safety and security of all travelers. AAA/CAA (American Automobile Association and Canadian Automobile association) clubs face many of the same challenges that all companies face in training and developing their employees while also trying to distribute job-critical knowledge. In addition, these clubs make up an association where information sharing is considered a critical component of business success. Moreover, each club functions as its own entity, with its own unique needs. AAA needed one training solution that could cater to all of these needs while providing a platform for the association as a whole.
The Solution:
Intelladon Corporation, the national developer of advanced, award-winning training solutions, forged a preferred supplier relationship with AAA (American Automobile Association) to provide Web-based training systems for AAA and Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) Clubs throughout North America. This relationship allows each AAA/CAA club access to Intelladon's Advanced Learning Platform (ALP) for training, cross-training and information transfer at reduced rates. AAA/CAA offers the ALP to each of its clubs as an adaptable, next-generation learning management system to help each organization streamline training and take advantage of opportunities presented by emerging Internet-based technology. The ALP renders highly efficient, interactive, and customized training solutions for regional clubs throughout the United States and Canada.
Return on Investment:
AAA selected Intelladon for its ability to provide a learning management system and courseware authoring tool that any of its 72 clubs could use independently without the need to add additional development or management resources. Intelladon has advanced AAA's mission of enhancing learning and efficiency for its organizations throughout the United States and Canada. Intelladon's solution is streamlining the training process for scores of individual AAA automobile clubs through advanced digital, video and Web-based technologies. AAA/CAA ultimately received a system capable of delivering 72 specific and customized training programs to each of its organizations based on each club's unique needs (thereby delivering separate returns on investment for 72 distinct organizations). |
