Tampa, FL – Software developer Virtual Communications, Inc. (VCOM) has found an unexpected training partner in the Intelladon Corporation.
While implementing an expense management web application, VCOM discovered that its client had outsourced online training of its customized version of the application to Intelladon.
A happy coincidence, VCOM was in the process of looking for an instructional design team to take its classroom-based training of the web application online. Its client’s success with Intelladon’s online modules served as a proof of concept and convinced VCOM to capitalize on Intelladon’s content design services.
Intelladon’s instructional design team helped to document the standard tasks that various job types perform in ExpenseAnywhere, VCOM’s expense management system. Intelladon then developed custom Flash simulations that showed these tasks in action.
The relationship between VCOM and Intelladon does not stop there. Because VCOM’s ExpenseAnywhere system can be customized to fit client needs, VCOM wants to offer customized online training. In the future, VCOM and Intelladon will work together to create customized online training that incorporates Flash simulations that use the client-branded ExpenseAnywhere system and document specialized tasks that the client wants its staff to perform.
