Born and raised in Toms River, NJ (on the Jersey Shore), Marc Blumenthal earned a BS in Management Information Systems
from the University of South Florida. He worked for the Tampa division of IBM during the early years of the IBM PC,
selling, designing and implementing PC and PC networking solutions for major accounts in west central Florida.
Marc’s experiences at IBM and USF sparked an entrepreneurial sprit and he began Progressive Business Solutions
in 1985 to meet the growing demand for PC based desktop and server solutions. From 1985 to 2000,
Progressive grew to one of the largest and most respected systems integrators in Florida. Progressive
was recognized as one of the top 10 Microsoft Dynamics partners in the world, in addition to its networking
and custom application development divisions. In 2000, he sold the company to ePartners, a national company
that was consolidating the industry.
After a bit of travel and relaxation with his family, Marc’s entrepreneurial spirit revived and he felt fortunate
to connect with Tim and Linsey, part of the group that founded Intelladon. Intelladon had created an amazing set
of solutions and services for their clients and were looking to expand. Marc was looking to join a team
and grow a company again. It was a perfect match. His passion for technology-based business solutions
combined with the satisfaction from helping clients train and develop their most valuable asset (people)
is what keeps Marc excited about working at Intelladon.
In addition to his role at Intelladon, he sits on the board of Metropolitan Ministries
and is active at the Tampa Bay Technology Forum and at his Synagogue.
Marc lives in Tampa with his wife and three children.
Tim Goewey brings more than twenty-five years of marketing and sales management to Intelladon.
As the General Manager of Team Goewey in Lantham, NY, he turned a struggling business into a profitable
automobile dealership by restructuring the organization and implementing a multi-million dollar sales
and marketing program. The results were amazing: under his leadership the company achieved the highest customer
satisfaction rating among 2500 Chrysler dealerships in the United States.
Tim later moved to Florida, serving as Director of Small Business Development for Hydrogen Media in St. Petersburg.
Within two months he had approached senior management with a proposal to start and run a small business division
for custom Web development, recognizing the need for a more templated approach to development. He signed 30 plus clients
in 8 months, surpassing the million dollar mark in sales.
In June of 2001, Tim co-founded Intelladon with the simple goal of making the adoption of e-Learning less painful.
He conducted vast amounts of research with the signing of clients such a GE Medical and UPS. Tim also created a
commercially available software product (Advanced Learning Platform) that enables clients to rapidly create critical
content in 1/4 the normal time and have that content immediately available in the ALP Learning Management System
(first to market).
Tim is also a professional actor and voice talent and currently resides in Brandon, Florida.
